I do it a lot, but very casually (rarely over about 30 on a bet) and only when there's an actual margin (whether i successfully use it or not isn't relevant, but i don't bet on games like roulette where it's only possible to lose). It makes sport more interesting and is necessary for a good game of poker.

It's not really a solid money-making option, but it's fun.

Could be dangerous if you dont have control. It's personal choice obviously though.

If I had more disposable cash I'd probably stick a tenner on the footy at the weekend but I can take it or leave it. The last bet I had came in so I won't try again for a while1

Gamble on a weekly basis. Sometimes say during major tennis tournaments and football tournaments on a daily basis. Probably bet a few hundred a week on average, sometimes I win, sometimes I lose, thats the way it goes.

Never bet more than you're willing to lose.

I don't do it much personally. I remember when I was about 20 I had an incredible night at the casino. Very intoxicated, played various games/machines, ended up $300 richer. Was over the moon. For some reason I never did that kind of thing again.

Love poker. That's more of a game of skill than a game of chance though.

Big fan of betting on sport. Never spend a large amount ($10) on any single bet, more so just to create interest in a certain match. Normally wouldn't care if the Vixens played the Swifts in the netball, but I am glued to the television if I have a bet on.

Not a fan of the casino styled gambling though.

Know someone whose husband got into gambling and lost 50k in a year's time. Not much of a gambler myself. The most I ever gamble is in sports fantasy leagues with my friends. Outside of that I'll bet a co-worker dinner or something over what's wrong with the machines or how long would it be before a rookie realizes we've set him up by rigging a machine.
    RIP Craigos
