    Goal Line Blitz - American Football

    There was a thread made back some time ago, but the search function was playing up and wouldn't find it for me sooo....

    What is Goal Line Blitz?
    Goal Line Blitz is a web-based American Football MMORPG. We've written a custom football simulation engine to provide you with the ultimate football experience on the web.

    Do you love fantasy football? Ever wished you could play with the pros? Join other football fans from around the world in building the player and team of your dreams, right here.

    Player Management

    * Create a custom player, at any position on the football field, and assign any name you want
    * Train your player from the ground up to be the type of player you want
    * Gain experience from playing games to improve your player's abilities
    * Sign with teams from around the world and negotiate your contract
    * Create custom signature equipment
    * And much more!

    Own a Team

    * Manage every aspect of a football team
    * Set ticket and concession prices
    * Improve your stadium with new seats, sections, and amenities
    * Sign, cut, and trade players
    * Set game-by-game strategy
    * Play to win the league championship
    * And much more!
    Figured it might interested a fair number of the NFL junkies on here. Sign-up link

    Quite enjoy it myself, as you get to build your player exactly how you want. Encourage people to sign-up as (that's me referral link) well as referrals get me flex points

    EDIT: Gah, wrong forum. Could a mod please move it to General Sports?

    Hmm, I'm in. Sounds like fun. Watch out for my stud WR coming up.

    Would highyl recommend reading some of the Player build guides in the FAQ tab at the top before creating a player, as your initial roll (you'll see what I mean when you go to create a player) can give you a pretty handy headstart if you get it right.

    Used to be in it, but got boring after a while. Having no money doesn't help either.

    Been playing for 3-4 months. Does get boring rather quickly. Must admit I forget about the game for a couple of weeks, and then remember to update training/level up players.

    Currently have a punter, a linebacker and wide receiver.

    Made a player. Now what? Should I sign for a CPU team?

    You can either sign up for a CPU team, orrr, go to the "Teams Looking for Players" forum, and you should be able to find a new team fairly comfortably. I have a 3 guys on this team which still has a couple of CPU players. So if your players play FB, OT, G, DE, CB, FS or SS send the owner/one of the GM's a message and they'll likely sign you up.

    I own two teams. Currently undefeated both are 4-0. All human players regardless of levels get starting jobs. It yours to lose. I pay well.
