Fascinating. True, but shocked anyone had the guts to come out and say it.

Well a lot of us have been saying similar things, but it's great that someone with that kind of profile has come out with it.

Top stuff Parky.

To be fair to Parky, he's really attacking the media surrounding Goody & the wretched upbringing that produced her rather than Jade herself.

Sorry she's dead and all (and very sorry for her nippers) but he's absolutely spot on when he says she "died to an orchestrated chorus of exploitation"

Yeah, surprised so many people have missed the point.

It's publicists like Max Clifford that I'd love to see getting slammed. Utter turds like him create sorry excuses for a story in relation to total nonentities like Jade Goody. Guys like him have such power and influence, they could do good things with it but instead they conjure up these orchestrated ****storms that you can't get away from.

Precisely, which is exactly what needed to happen.

All very true. No one deserves to die of cancer, but the mass hysteria and public donning of ashes and sackcloth for someone who appears to have been a waste of space as a person is pretty nauseating. Choked on mry weeties when I saw she was buried in a white coffin.

This bs celebrity culture (wonderful oxymoron) is a sign of a sick society, and England seems to buy into it much more than other countries. Sad to see from the country that gave us Churchill etc

England are hardly unique. Wasn't Michael Hutchence's funeral televised? Van Nguyen comes to mind and we just love those Corbys so much despite being a family of dysfunctional drug crooks. Aus lapped up Diana's funeral just as much as anyone too.

It's not the sign of a sick society, I reckon. It's the sign of a perfectly normal one!

Why was she given so much coverage in Australia? No one knows who she is and there was an article about her almost every other day here. Absurd.
