REQ: Beta Tester for "Live Cricket" Desktop Gadget

    Hi Guys

Please forgive me if this is wrong forum for my post

I have developed an application "Live Cricket" and need few beta testers for my application which is in beta stage.

Live Cricket is a free desktop gadget which will update you right on your desktop about the currently live playing match with ball-by-ball update and updated score.

    System Requirements :

    1. .net Runtime : .net 3.0 or later
    2. Operating System : WinXP, Win 2000, Win 2003 (not ready for Win Vista)
    3. Active Internet connection (to download the latest match details and scores)

It is a very small software of 2.30MB (compressed installer) and only takes 9MB (approx.) of Hard Disk space

    Screenshots :

I have also posted the same request on some other board and they deleted the post thinking of I am doing to marketing for my software. Please see that I am not doing any kind of marketing as neither my software nor my website is listed anywhere and the reason is very simply I need few beta testers for my application testing. So, please please please don't get me wrong and let me know if you feel anything wrong.

For all those who can help me with the beta testing of my software please PM me or mail me at picaya [@] gmail.com (with subject "LiveCricket Beta Tester") or reply this post and I'll get back to you.

Well, I don't think there is any other way to win your trust except expressing it through my words........do you think I really need to register to spread a virus

It is a simple, working(may have bugs that's why I need beta tester) and definitely a non-virus, no-adware, no-spamware vb.net application. I do have Norton Antivirus and Internet Securities installed on my pc so it definitely can't have any viruses.

If it is really a virus then my motto should be to affect more and more computers then why I have not made the download URL public and let all the visitors to this thread download it even if they are not interested in beta testing. Spreading virus to only few beta testers!

If you still can't trust me then all I can say it is atleast one user here scan it test it and thats the only way I can win your trust

I know nothing about these things, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and drop you an email. Although I find your screenshots misleading - NZ won by 8 wickets? Surely not!

So it runs a rootkit right? Therefore making it invisible to most AV software.

It says India 149/0, but they were 149 all out.

Thanks Top_Cat for your help. It's Windows based application.....(It needs Windows Platform (except Win Vista) with .net 3.0 framework) see the first post for the system requirements.

Just drop me a mail or PM me your email id and I'll send you the download link along with the instructions to update me with the bug reports or suggestions.

    Hi Nitin,

I hadn't got around to trying to download the program until today, but after going to the download page on your blog page, it wouldn't load up the Download link. Was giving me a "Page Load Error".
