Battle of the Worst Places to go on Holiday

Simple concept, I want to see if it has any support.. I'm willing to outsource work to a victim if there is enough demand..

You are told you have a holiday/business trip, and you have to go to these destinations.. Which would you least want to end up in? Think this could provide some interesting debate and we could learn a bit about some really average places.

Some nominations

Mogadishu
Port-au-Prince
Baghdad
Basra
Harare
Lagos
Ahmedabad
Kingston
Riyadh
Murmansk
Pyongyang
New Orleans
Beirut
Blackpool
Dzherzhinsk
Karachi
Bogota
Tripoli
Khartoum

The worst holiday anyone has ever described to me was a trip to Tehran.

Belfast can't be far off either.

I'd love to go to Tehran, one of the biggest cities on earth, and with a ski resort nearby, right in the Arab world.. What did they hate about it?

I was just about to nominate Belfast actually.. Especially if it all kicks off again in Northern Ireland

Her Dad's from Tehran, so she's half-Iranian. She just said there's nothing there, the heat's stifling, everything revolves around their fanatical religious beliefs and the people are absolute ****s.

Belfast isn't the worst place to go really. The girls are shocking, the weather's ****e and there's not a lot to do but put up with our horrific accents but there's a lot of much worse places too.

I used to live with an Iranian couple for a month, they loved South Africa, was the first time they could do what they wanted.. By the end of the month they had brought over their family, one of them tried to go into the maids room at night for a bit of a late night smashing, and the other one got so drunk he threw up all over the shower, and then crashed his car into a wall whilst trying to do a runner..

Haha yeah I remember reading about that. This girl's not quite like that, she's lived in Ireland all her life, so her reaction on visiting Iran was quite the reverse. It was the first time in her life that she couldn't do anything she wanted because of a few (*insert Islamophobic remarks*) in Iran.
