Yeah, pretty surreal, he collapsed in the Columbia and Cameroon game and was pronounced dead at hospital an hour later....

Watching the France v Turkey game... Really surreal at the moment, reminds me of the Wellington test match after Ben Hollioakes death... Henri, in tears really has just put France 1-0 up...

Yea the french players are pretty much breaking down.

I am amazed FIFA hasnt postponed the games. Its not like he just died,he died playing the sport and contributing to it.I think he deserves a show of respect and postponing the games is something FIFA should've/should do!

I think it all happened a bit quickly... Maybe if the match was tomorrow they might well have postponed it, after it had sunk in... France leading 3-2, they must be doing well to think about their football at the moment...

Shocked that the Cup has continued - should've been scrapped.

Will the final actually take place?

What the hell Marc? This will only spur the Cameroon team on to win it for Foe.
I think they'll play the final out of respect, im sure if he had a say in it he'd want his team to keep going & win.

Im glad they told the players after the match rather than during it...it would have been a very hard 5 or 10 minutes to watch those players carry on.

That confused me for a moment!

I'm disgusted at the reports of the Turkish fans (yet again) during the minutes silence.

Which is why I feel not playing the final would be a fitting tribute to him - they should show that some things are more important than football.

Either that or make it an exhibition game rather than a competitive one...

I think once everyone has had a couple of days to reflect they'll realise that the best thing to do is play the final in celebration of his career.

Im sure Foe would want his team mates to carry on and likewise with the French team who he had a number of connections with.
