Battle of the 2000s Albums
Thought last night while I couldn't get to bed that this would be worth having. Many of us are under the age of 25, and thus don't have the extensive knowledge of others of albums of earlier periods. But most, if not all, of the members who have an interest in music have a good knowledge and an opinion on most music over the past 9 years or so, and as we near the end of the decade it would be worth conducting this poll.
So, for starters, everyone gets 8 nominations, and 8 secondings. At this stage, any album that receives a second is through to the draw. Nominate: Streets, The - A Grand Don't Come For Free Arctic Monkeys - Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not Kings of Leon - Aha Shake Heartbreak Strokes, The - Is This It? Would love to nominate Go! by Perth band Cartman, as it's one of the best pop-rock albums I've ever heard, but I doubt anyone here is familiar with it, so I will nominate:
