The voting opened up a week or so ago. Has anyone voted yet?

Currently have these 9 songs locked in:

Alabama Shakes - Hold On
Alt-J - Breezeblocks
Black Keys, The - Little Black Submarines
Chet Faker - I'm Into You
Lumineers, The - Ho Hey
Macklemore & Ryan Lewis - Can't Hold Us {ft. Ray Dalton}
Macklemore & Ryan Lewis - Thrift Shop {ft. Wanz}
Of Monsters And Men - Little Talks
Maccabees, The – Pelican
Xavier Rudd - Follow The Sun

With the remaining spot probably going to one of:
Temper Trap - Rabbit Hole
The Rubens - My Gun
Mumford & Sons - I Will Wait
Flume - Sleepless

Alabama Shakes - Hold On
Arctic Monkeys - R U Mine?
Bloc Party - Real Talk
Bombay Bicycle Club - Lights Out, Words Gone
Calvin Harris - Sweet Nothing {ft. Florence Welch}
Jack White - Love Interruption
Maccabees, The - Pelican
Mystery Jets - Someone Purer
Of Monsters And Men - Little Talks
xx, The - Angels

Think I was supposed to select Octopus though instead of Real Talk, ah well.

Voted for these:

Alabama Shakes - Hold On
Ball Park Music - Coming Down
Bamboos, The - I Got Burned {ft. Tim Rogers}
Black Keys, The - Gold On The Ceiling
Django Django - Default
Matt Corby - Lonely Boy {Like A Version}
Snakadaktal - Dance Bear
Thundamentals - Brother {Like A Version}
Xavier Rudd - Follow The Sun
xx, The - Chained

Probably would've changed a couple if I knew the names of some of the songs I've heard on JJJ during the year. A large percentage of the list was a mystery to me, but I'm sure I'd know some of them if I heard them. Spending time on YouTube to find out seemed a step too far...

Calvin Harris - Sweet Nothing {ft. Florence Welch}
Die Antwoord - Fatty Boom Boom
Gaslight Anthem, The - 45
Hilltop Hoods - Rattling The Keys To The Kingdom
House Vs Hurricane - Blood Knuckles
Mountain Goats, The - Cry For Judas
Parkway Drive - Dark Days
Sigur Ros - Varuo
Snakadaktal - Dance Bear
xx, The - Angels

Point and laugh at my music taste all you like. Would have gone Little Talks or Thrift Shop over Die Antwoord if I'd listened to them earlier though. Shouldn't have gone for a joke vote.

Alpine - Gasoline
Black Keys, The - Gold On The Ceiling
Hungry Kids Of Hungary - Sharp Shooter
King Gizzard And The Lizard Wizard - Muckraker
Of Monsters And Men - Little Talks
Of Monsters And Men - Mountain Sound
Rubens, The - My Gun
Tame Impala - Feels Like We Only Go Backwards
Temper Trap, The - Trembling Hands
Tennis - Origins

Decided against voting for any like a version songs - Love Of Monsters and Men at the moment, I think Little Talks will be number one but Thrift Shop is clearly the favourite if you want to bet on it.

Straight-up, I've barely paid any attention to the Hottest 100 since, well, ever. But I'd heard all the controversy about the song which won it and checked it out. Sure it's throwaway track but a song like that winning the Hottest 100 is nothing new at all, clip was pretty damn funny and I reckon Macklemore himself has a ton of talent as a lyricist and performer. Deserved winner, I reckon. Was good to see Alt-J right up there too.
