Creationism Museum

I knew such a thing existed, but seriously?

From the Guardian

Rumor has it that one of their exhibits is a caveman riding dinosaurs.

I tend to look at such things in the same way I do KKK bookstores in the south with t-shirts of white people urinating on black people; they're a bit niche, a curiosity and a close eye should be kept on them but should never be taken seriously. That article is pretty old, the attention about it has died-down somewhat. I'm guessing because people have actually attended it and found it to be bollocks.

This sort of stuff is always going to be around but targeting them like some are, to me, confers legitimacy on them they don't deserve.

Yeah that's pretty much it. There's not a lot you can do to challenge religiously-held conceptions. I try to just look at it, cringe a bit and laugh it off.

On a side note, when I read the title of the thread i imagined a museum about Creationism where people went to see what the fools of yesteryear actually believed.

It is all in the belief. If we can believe in Jesus, Allah, Ram , hell, heaven etc then why not creationism ?
