Never go to a hardcore concert. I got knocked out cold at Converge and had minor concussions from Suicide Silence and Parkway Drive concerts.

The best type of concerts IMO.

But that's the thing, it wasn't really hardcore.

It was in the middle of Faker for christ sakes.

But, Wagga is full of ferals, so you expect that.

Didn't mean that. What I meant is that if you think that's bad, you'll get some shock at a hardcore concert. Last one I went to the bassist backflipped off the speaker stacks onto my brothers head before I got sidekicked in the back of the head.

Yeah, I don't really intend on going to many hardcore gigs.

Do you have a calendar marking down the days until you leave?

Haha, went to a pseudo-metal gig few years back, they let 800 into a room that was only meant to hold 300....! The last song came on & the room erupted, as it was their well known song, and literally the entire room was a pit. People were moshing behind the bar at the back, the room was utterly trashed afterwards.

I got my nose whacked amongst other things, I didn't even know it'd happened until I got out because my whole body was hurting....then saw the blood dripping all over me. Good times, one for the youth but would never do that again (forgetting the fact I ain't into proper metal anymore) as I was pretty badly bashed up.

The Rasmus don't count, I'm afraid. Though I'm sure the atmosphere was immense when they launched into In The Shadows.

You know what really grinds my gears:

Inter-University rivalry. Who ****ing cares? You're getting an education of relatively comparative standards - just reeks of playground fights and people who aren't mature enough for university yet.

Never really got the whole Uni rivalry thing either. in fact most of our time was spent going to other Uni's and getting pissed with mates.

EDIT: We never really did much piss taking of each others Uni's either. Just all thought it was the same **** different stank.
