The saddest part of this is that it's a valid question.

Haha. Once knew a Physics HOD who coveted the geology department's tenure track lines at a smallish (well inconsequential) Mid-West US college. Claim was anyone could teach about blue, pink and green rocks, might as well be a physicist. Unfortunately for him he backed the wrong candidate for College of Science Dean and the next time he lost his temper with a high-level secretary, he was out on his *** - back to actually having to run experiments, dreams of a college presidency shattered into many tiny blue-green-pink pebbles.

Of course, he's not entirely wrong: science w/o DEs (read Newton) is merely stamp collecting.

Mark Nicholas

I can't escape the ****. You'd think I'd be safe at work, wouldn't you? But today I had to work on a programme called Britain's Best Dish. And guess who was the host? MARK ****ING NICHOLAS. There he is, smiling smugly, face more shiny than the fancy silver appliances the contestants cook with, grasping for superlatives to describe the drama taking place in the kitchens (of which there was little to none). Imagine my surprise. Imagine my horror.

I wouldn't necessarily say he's polarising. People don't love him or hate him.

Many hate him, and the others don't share the same hate. They generally just tolerate him.

Nah I'd say they like him. Don't find too many people who don't have an opinion on him or just say 'yeah, Mark Nicholas hey'

i don't know how but for the past two years rapidshare has seemingly got worse every single time I try to download a large file full of spreadsheets off there. mediafire, now there's a good spreadsheet hosting site.
