. Especially with IPL on Setanta this spring, as well. But yeah, I'd stay up all night watching Division 2 College Football or something.

Panel Pins
Seriously, who invented these ****ers? Are they IKEA's punishment to the world for extolling in the joys of easy DIY? Spent 20 minutes today putting together a TV stand, then 45 minutes (and 3 broken fingers) putting in 10 panel pins to hold the back in. They are too small to hold between the fingers without breaking a knuckle every time you have a swing at em, and they have the ability to jump out of a hole that they are 90% hammered into. Seriously the most annoying things on earth.

New online textbook shop
So, last year they were always in stock. You'd pay by credit card and the books would turn up on your doorstep a few days later. Now they introduce a new shop. I buy two textbooks. One costs $80 and the other $140. I get an email invoice confirming just that. Two weeks later, the textbooks are nowhere to be seen. I check my bank balance and I've been debited $95. Where the hell does that number come from and where are my books? **** QUT Kelvin Grove Enjoy my $50 parking fine you bastards.

Radio Sport/NZ Cricket
Just tried to get live streaming of Radio Sport for the 1st ODI, I get this message: "We regret NZ Cricket requires our live streaming to be restricted to NZ listeners during the commentary periods." ****ing ****s. Leaping to conclusions here, but I strongly suspect this has something to do with the BCCI. Listened to the West Indies series just fine, never had trouble listening from Australia in the past either. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Hmm, late first year and all 2nd year was my pinnacle of drinking, eased off a fair bit in third year due to practical placements and the like.
Possibly should have done a post-grad but sorta glad im working now and earning some money, seriosuly miss the free time and lack of responsibilites though. |
