Yeah, AWTA. They're not even consistent though, Arsenal were denied Cesc for Fabregas and Song Billong for Song. Yet Birmingham were allowed "Chucho" Benitez and United got permission for Chicha-****ing-rito.

Didn't think so. So no exceptions for teenage Mexicans.
He's 22. [/pedant]

I dislike it on the grounds that Chicharito is an extremely crap nickname and Hernandez was a perfectly cool name in the first place but in principle I couldn't really give a damn what people want on their shirt. Properly winds my Dad up though. You must be getting old and cranky just like him.

I can't wait to see how bitter and twisted I am by the time I'm properly old.

In the meantime, I've decided to start calling him C***arinho.

If memory serves a few world cups ago one of the Danish players was allowed to have his nickname "Mini" on his shirt. Can't remember his real name for the life of me tho.

Hypocrisy

You can't complain that unions are destroying the economy, then enjoy your day in the sun on Labour Day. But that doesn't seem to stop some ****s.

I'd echo this, but still think nicknames on shirts is just dire.

By all accounts, the Green Bay crowd wasn't a fan of Murphy's jersey upon his debut in the NFL.
