It wasn't an entirely a serious post.. But it would say massive things about their character.. IE confirming we are probably very different.. I'm sure I could work around it but it's kind of like the "gaylords say no" test, it rarely fails..

Haha, I've not heard of said "Test", but fair enough. I see what you mean tbh, I have similar things for a mate of mine who loves Will and Grace. I'm not a fan of the show at all, but there is the odd joke that is a bit amusing that shows up every now and again, and it's hardly the worst show in the world. But this guy, will laugh out loud, I mean really laugh, at every single joke made in the entire show like it's the funniest thing ever, which bugs me no end. Just a matter of taste I suppose. Interestingly enough though, this mate of mine is gay...which kind of fits in with your original post...hmmm

I find in general, people who like American sitcoms to be either gay, foreign, or a girl.. Have never met an English or South African guy who will watch them.. I hope the same fits for Aussies and Kiwis as well.. I'd be very upset if the nations that gave us Merv Hughes and Chris Cairns would tolerate someone laughing at Phoebe filling every sentence with "Huh Hey Huh Yeah well Ha Alright"

Hmm, don't mind if people "like" Friends, but have met very few people who would physically laugh out loud at something that happened within an episode. Just a series of smiles over 30 minutes, IMO.

Let's not beat about the bush, I think it's terrible, but I wouldn't go so far as to say there isn't anything out there that's worse than it.

Hug?

Being from Leicestershire equates to all of these things.

For the most part I agree, though there are some exceptions, I laugh out loud every now and again at things like Fresh Prince of Bel Air.

Seinfeld is gold though it's an exception more than a rule.

Yeah indeed, Seinfeld would definitely be up there, as well as a few others i'm sure. Cheers, Frasier and the like.

Like Friends myself, loved it as a teen...I must confess to lolling to several moments when I watched them the first time round...and I'm as manly as they come tbh, I just swallowed a knife after I typed that to prove it
