Yeah, think al dente is allowable because the English equivs are a bit clunky. What would you say? "Firm but not hard", "So there's a little bite" or "Not boiled to buggery"?

It's a fine line tho, using "en croute" when "in pastry" will do just as well should be a capital offence.

What about coq au vin? It's basically just chicken and wine, after all

Yeah, cock o van users would be up against the wall. "Chicken in wine" will do nicely, you wannabe French feckers.

Lovely meal though, one of the things I can cook fairly well. Think I'll use that as a chat up line next week, "hey love, wanna try my coq au vin"

I'm pretty sure the english equivalent would be "cooked".

Doesn't bother me though, it's an italian product.

Hope you enjoy your flooded out house during high tide you wankers.
I hate cyclists who don't use cycle lanes.. The municpality cuts garbage collections so they can build some fancy bike pathway, and the muppets still cycle three abreast in the road..

I've never known anyone have such anger towards a street though..

That's true and I also rant at women cyclists, just as bad as women drivers

Haha, Women cyclists, we've hit a new low in prejudice against road users.

    Bloody angry about this:

Aviary raid leaves 32 birds killed | Stuff.co.nz

What kind of sick ****er breaks into an aviary and then plucks, decapitates and stamps on the birds therein? I saw on the news last night that they've arrested 3 20-somethings for this crime. If it was up to me, I think a fit punishment would be to have all their hair pulled out and their face stamped on repeatedly. Preferably whilst wearing cricket boots.
