Sick of it...why the **** cant wallabies v barbarians be shown at the same instant that nsw is viewing it...get up early to watch it, only to have my mate tell me the half time score while i listen to the commentators go through the start team...and now the same thing for the tennis...couldnt fully enjoy dokics win as my mother mentioned "how good was dokic's win" while they were halfway through the third on QLD CH7...lift your game broadcasters, no-one cares about Mr T's flavourwave.

The quality issue is debatable sometimes, but yeah, I don't get it either. Drank spirits at my work Xmas party because the venue had no draught beer (which in itself is a disgrace)

Happened twice to me, in the same pub (granted, it was in Oranialand).

Ordered two beers, barmaid pulls, nothing happens <deliberate Volty bait>, goes to cellar, comes back rosycheeked...I'm afraid we're out of kegs.

Wont drink draft in a bar in the city centre. Places are so profit orientated they dont care for the barrels and lines properly, as they know drunk people wont care at 1am. Chances are earlier on in the evening the lines arnt getting used much, if indeed at all, so the beers been sat in it a fair while

Surely the beer cask is airtight though so it doesn't make a difference either to health issues (no bacterial growth) or taste (won't go flat, won't oxidise) if the beer's been sat in it for a while that day?

Cleaning lines is a concern though, you get some ****ing nasty pints sometimes (i had an undrinkable one in Rochdale a couple of months ago). But i still wouldn't go for a bottle in a pub, if i wanted to drink bottled beer i'd do it for 1/5th of the price at home and bring mates there.

Makes perfect sense to me. In NZ all there is on tap is crappy Monteiths, Macs, Tui or Export, and here in the States, well, that needs no explanation.
