One of them was in the correct order (the smaller one, admittedly).

But yeah, anyone who followed my picks had a good day today. But I doubt there's anyone who does - people who did when I started doing them probably can't afford the paper anymore.

Good circulation round the Flaxmere area, perchance?

I hear his tips are put up at the wall at Turk's so when the president of the PGP heads home for a weekend, he can access them easily inbetween his visits to the tanning salon.

So that's the secret to his well-known "all over tan" is it? I'd always assumed it had something to do with Jason!

    Passed my driving theory test
Girlfriend took the exam she's been stressing out about for the last month and it went alright. Huge anticlimax but at least she won't be spending three hours a day revising now...

Spent the week in the Western Cape, helping out my friend who has a lodge out there. Doing tours and a bit of driving for backpackers and whatnot, earning some money doing something that doesn't really feel like a job is always nice. For mine the most beautiful place I've ever been to as well. Came home from what was basically a holiday with a profit . Went with an Aussie friend and learnt a bit about the place, sounds beautiful but I can't get over some of the rules and regulations you guys have to live with, like not being able to drive past 11 until you are 21?!

FYI, the second is where Hansie met his untimely end...

    Ruined
Someone threw up all over the place last night and the landlord called a meeting to try and get someone to own up. Was like being at pre-school and I hope I'm not living with a bunch of jerks now. I was on the other side of town as well and they were on about me driving back immediately.. Great

    Took loads of good photos.

It's because people keep wrapping themselves around telegraph poles...you might not be fully aware of the car culture in Oz. Young people hotting up cars they can't drive and then piling friends in and heading to the local KFC to spend their whole night rubbing themselves against other people's paintwork...I'm not really a fan, but each to their own

Hmm... I assume that rule came in recently??

Yarp, just after i got my full license...(bout 20 months back IIRC)

Can understand parts of it but what of the whole designated driver thing for nights out on the piss...solve one problem and creates another, especially in country areas where the only public transport is taxis or two feet and a heartbeat.

Actually I didn't even know it was in...I only remember talk about it. But then I'm not in the age group so maybe it just passed me by.

Depends on which state you're in I'd say. For QLD, the full range of changes really only came in a year/18 months ago.

Good thing I got my licence before then.
