Really fadding on AIC at the moment. Damn, they were good. Layne Stayley had such a cool voice, and Jerry Cantrell is a master songwriter. Tight as ****.
The MTV Unplugged version of Nutshell is incredible. You can tell how mentally and physically ****ed Layne Staley is but, boy, that guy could sing.

That song, man. Kills me, everytime. That bass line. And that lyric "and yet I fight this battle all alone".

    And that video, sad. ****.

I'll have to temper this with something upbeat so I don't get too flat. But **** I love it.

    La Luna - Madness

Still got it. Oui Oui Si SI Ja Ja Da Da doesn't quite match the majesty of 09's Norton Folgate, but it's pretty ****ing good anyway.

"Predictably, the ending of his international career did not end the argument about Pietersen's merits, as an army of informed commentators and Piers Morgan weighed in to defend or attack him."

    Weta - Got The Ju

So minimalist, but they just do this sort of song so well.

Absolutely. Always wanted to see them live, but haven't had the chance. Gutted that I missed them at BDO a couple of years back due to a clash.

    Steel Monkey - Jethro Tull

Quite unlike most of their output, almost a bit Dire Straits-ish, but ridiculously catchy.
