    Dusk & Blackdown x Grievous Angel - Iqbal's Groove 9

Love the incorporation of the sitars and eastern feel to this album, sounds amazing.

With the English bid I said: Let us be brief. If you give back the Falkland Islands, which belong to us, you will get my vote. They then became sad and left

Yeah, that's really pretty decent. Got that kind spectral retro-futurist vibe like Metronomy.

Kid has a distinctive voice too, which always helps to get noticed.

Rise up with Fists - Jenny Lewis

Dunno where I originally heard this, but it came into my head the other day and it took me a while to work out what the song was called.

It's nice to hear a track that was on the radio that I actually like. It's cheesy and pretentious but that fits quite well with the whole introspective youth subject matter.

    Sea - Codeine

Epic, heavy, brooding Sub Pop sadcore from the early/mid 90s.

Like a dose of the prescription opiate from which they take their name, it's like bathing in a fuzzy haze.
