Buffalo - The Phoenix Foundation

The album of the same name was recommended by my barber ages ago and I saw it cheap on that there Amazon t'other day when I got distracted from Xmas shopping and ended up looking for CDs.

Kwality tbh. Not unlike SFAs in acoustic/mellow mode.

EnZedders, so Google tells me. Bit of a renaissance for Antipodean music of late, IMHO.

She Don't Use Jelly - The Flamimg Lips

Still the best thing they've done.

Displays a very English sense of ridiculous, aside from the whole "calling jam jelly" thang, obvz.

Their previous album is better IMO. Bright Grey is a superb track. Bleaching Sun has a music video featuring cricket and Dion Nash as well.

Múm ~ Smell Memory

This is the kind of electronic music that, for me, I start out thinking that this makes no sense at all... and then it does. Holy **** it does.

Allergies - Pond

Very 60s; winning combo of Beatles in lysergic flicker mode and Dooresque Manzarek-style keyboards.

Class, tbf.

The best track from (III) so far I think. CC songs always seem to evolve and get better after multiple plays.

Kerosine best track off the album. Heard it got a bit slated in the reviews, didn't read them though.
