Little Green Cars - The John Wayne
Heard this on the radio the other day, quite a nice song
Explosions In The Sky ~ The Only Moment We Were Alone
Cannot stress enough how beautiful this album is.

Always credit this cover with getting me to listen to The Smiths for the first time all those years ago. So it's got a special place in my heart. And IMO it's a bloody good cover, too - quite a different interpretation of the song.

Solid zepp clone

Digging the rolling, reverb-heavy drumbeat.

Never, ever, ever going to get sick of this song.
Dead Sara - Monumental Holiday
Probably my favourite discovery of 2012. What a voice. Only thing not in their favour is they'e about to go on tour with Muse. Booooooo.

Shackler's Revenge - Guns N' Roses
Finally picked up Chinese Democracy ('cos it was reduced to £1.99, mainly) and am two songs in. Bit nu metal for my taste, this track.

Love that song but could see why you wouldn't

RIP Craigos. A true CW legend. You will be missed.
She Sun Shines - Cast
Neglected little gem off their Mother Nature Calls album.
Had that album on the other day, quality actually. Not as good as their debut, but.
I'm a fan, tbh. Always prefer my albums to be slightly underrated by critical consensus and it never got the props it was due.
Cast undervalued generally anyway, IMHO. Written off as Scouse chancers for no other reason than they were from Liverpool, John Power was a ranga & they had a lot of the same influences as Oasis.
The Sky is Fallin' - QOTSA
Quality riffage for a Sunday lunchtime.
