Cheers mate! Well, the time it's taken to write those first three, there won't be a full length album for at for another five years. We're rather a slow-progressing group unfortunately, working on speeding up the process a bit.

21st Century Schzoid Man - King Crimson
Just heard it used as a sample in a song used in an ad for some XBox game (which Google informs me is Power by Kanye West), so have dug out the original. Love the opening but, as in prog's wont, loses its way in the widdly wanky bits in the middle.

Tonight I'm gonna party like it's 1989. Perennial Peel favourites who never quite get the props they deserve. A lot of the noughties garage rock thang owed them a debt, but they never got a second wind of interest out of it. Imagine The Strokes fronted by Bumble and you're somewhere near. |

Roy Walker - Belle & Sebastian
I think I prefer their earlier, more understated folky stuff. The big, baroque production is all well and good, but gets in the way of the song a bit. Makes them sound too keen to be liked. |
