The Killers - For Reasons Unknown

Not the first time I've posted it in here and won't be the last. One of them songs that just gets me. I get chills listening to it.

    Just had

    Ryan Adams - Wonderwall

    And now

Guns N' Roses - Buick Makane (Big Dumb Sex)

    Two excellent covers.

Well chuffed with tonight's 'journey home' playlist

Alexisonfire - Old Crows / Young Cardinals

Genuinely impressed with this album. Especially "Born & Raised", "Emerald Street" and "Accept Crime", great stuff. The band I'd previously dismissed as overly emo-ish, which was maybe unfair, but this is definately the best I've heard of them. Bit more grown up, so to speak.

So I listened to oasis to and from work and watched a few bits and bobs of some of their DVDs tonight.

Put iTunes on and thought...I'll listen to something else...cbf to decide what, press shuffle. The result

    Oasis - Morning Glory

So glad given that it's probably the best song ever. Well, it's in the top ten. Best song ever about drugs, anyway.

The Violence of Truth - The The

We're long overdue another LP from Comrade Johnson.

Not gonna lie, the Dido sample is absolutely brilliant.

That song's just a reminder that Eminem is perfectly capable of putting something interesting together when he wants to. Makes the majority of his stuff seem all that more annoying though.

Rob Dougan ~ Clubbed To Death II.

As out there as this may sound, this is still my favourite track/song by a gigantic margin.
