I loved the early Foo Fighters, haven't liked them in a while. My bro tells me the new album is good though so I'll give it a shot
And I'm glad Burgey can't be talking about me WRT musical elitism, all my favourite bands were massive (largely because they are the best )

But I don't think CW will ever be able to free itself from music snobbery's evil grasp. It's such a widespread problem on the internet that waves of new members will sign up having become accustomed to casually slagging off others' music tastes.

Burgey raises a good point.
Several good points, actually. listening to Stockholm Syndrome-Blink 182. Some of the best pop punk ever written imo.

Can't load Youtube atm, out of intertubes for the month. No relation to Muse's Stockholm Sydrome?

but i should note i don't try to impress people and i doubt many people on here do. it's more a case of really liking this one artist that people may not know about and hoping by mentioning them on here one other person might find out about them and like them too.

I understand that. It's not the posting of artists that ****s me, it's the bagging the crap out of other people's likes that irks me, in the context of music, which is so subjective. |

Currently listening to a B-side featured on the Japanese release of The Dissent of Man by Bad Religion called Finite. Should really have featured on the album imo, though it is very similar to To Another Abyss. Gun album it is too, even if it is a departure from their usual.

I have such narrow tastes these days as well. I like a lot of different bands but love a select few, so they get all my play time. |

but really. i don't understand the love for dave grohl, from both in the mainstream and in the indie-world. he's considered a genius in both and i don't really get it.
