Agree on the other two songs too, as you all probably realise I'm a huge oasis fan and reckon they might be the worst two songs they committed to disc. The worst thing is, they could potentially have been built into decent songs but it's like Noel wrote a decent intro and then thought, cbf There were two or three b-sides that should have replaced those two tbh

Standing On The Shoulder etc really was a wasted opportunity. let's all make believe of course should have gone on there and put some liam vocals on (one of or imo both of) ciggies in hell and one way road and they would have been fine. So get rid of put yer money and liar and probably Where did it all go wrong and you have a much much better album. worst thing is Standing is by far oasis' must out there album and their darkest album - not really saying alot but still - and obviously Noel got stung by the criticism it got and proceeded to write Heathen ****ing Chemistry

I think Noel was scared by the introspective nature of these songs, the lyrical content of the ones you and I listed is a lot deeper than a lot of what he had ever written so he hid them on b-sides. I mean, as an obsessive completist it doesn't really matter to me as I have all the tunes anyway but had the album been a success it would have been interesting to see what happened next. |

Yeah, it's nowhere near my favourite song, hell it's probably one of my least favourites off that album alone but yeah, I'll always like it for a few reasons
