    Einstein's riddle

    There are 5 houses in 5 different colors. In each house lives a person with a different nationality. The 5 owners drink a certain type of beverage, smoke a certain brand of cigar, and keep a certain pet. No owners have the same pet, smoke the same brand of cigar, or drink the same beverage.

    The question is: Who owns the fish?

    Hints:

    * The Brit lives in the red house.
    * The Swede keeps dogs as pets.
    * The Dane drinks tea.
    * The green house is on the left of the white house.
    * The green homeowner drinks coffee.
    * The person who smokes Pall Mall rears birds.
    * The owner of the yellow house smokes Dunhill.
    * The man living in the center house drinks milk.
    * The Norwegian lives in the first house.
    * The man who smokes Blend lives next to the one who keeps cats.
    * The man who keeps the horse lives next to the man who smokes Dunhill.
    * The owner who smokes Bluemaster drinks beer.
    * The German smokes prince.
    * The Norwegian lives next to the blue house.
    * The man who smokes Blend has a neighbor who drinks water.

    Einstein wrote this riddle early during the 19th century. He said 98% of the world could not solve it. Please don't use Google its not difficult just tiresome.

    Yellow(Norway,Dunhill, Water, Cats) > Blue( Dane, Horse, Blend, Tea)> Red(Brit, Milk, Pallmall, Birds) > Green(German, Prince, coffee, FISH) > White (Swede, Dog, Bluemaster, Beer)

    ****ing Germans. That took me a while is it right?

    Yeah. Thanks for posting it though, I used to love doing things like that when I was younger. Been ages since I last did one.

    Our boy Albero must be taking the piss when he said he expects only 2% will solve this sure it requires some thinking but anybody with half a decent brain should be able to solve it out.

    I think it's an attempt at a self-fulfilling prophecy. If everyone is convinced that it's really hard, they'll find it harder than it is.

    Yeah that's a good point, when I finished it I wasn't really confident that it was right, thought there must have been a trick that I'd missed.
