India-Pakistan Current Affairs
Yesterday some people suggested that the recent Lahore Blast were carried out by an Indian, Well turns out it was not :-
http://www.thenews.com.pk/top_story_detail.asp?Id=19199 PESHAWAR: A previously-unknown pro-Taliban group, Ansar Wa Mohajir, has claimed responsibility for Wednesday’s bomb explosion in Lahore and the earlier rocket attacks on Dera Ismail Khan. Toofan Wazir, identifying himself as a commander and spokesman of the group, phoned The News from somewhere in North Waziristan to claim responsibility for the two attacks. He threatened more attacks against the security forces and the government installations to avenge the two recent US missile strikes in North Waziristan in which several militants belonging to the Punjab were killed. Also here :- http://www.presstv.ir/detail.aspx?id...onid=351020401 I wonder what that makes of the recent arrests and the claims of their involvment made in this regard. Not saying all those were there in Pakistan to boost tourism in Pakistan but at least it does not seem like they were involved in the attack. PS :- I intend to keep this discussion civil and hope whoever participates in it does it too. |

I have no idea who's responsible for the recent Lahore blast. I hope a through investigation takes place and the guilty are brought to justice. However I would like to point out that after the Mumbai attacks, a previously unknown group called "Deccan Mujhahideen" had taken responsibility for the attacks. That claim turned out to be false.

Not enough that the last few threads along these lines have ended in closures after protracted and at times very poor slanging matches, Sanz obviously still feels the need to pursue his agenda further.

Especially after he's mentioned that he'll try to "keep it civil", why the baiting? Regarding this "agenda" that you speak of, what's that? Has it come up in this thread yet? Sanz may have made some questionable posts in other threads but there is absolutely nothing wrong with this one. I'm not calling you out as this sort of thing happens a lot on here - as they say, "respond to the post, not the poster" - but please stop stirring up ****.

Obviously get that Sanz, like many people with a connection to India are deeply offended and enraged by what's happened in recent months, but from what I've seen he's regularly failed to manage that emotion in a way that's allowed him to discuss the subject reasonably on here. Quote:

Fair enough - the original post was just an objective presentation of some news (without much commentary from Sanz) so I was annoyed that several people pounced on it simply because of the poster. Didn't mean to come off as a ****.
