Christmas is a sham run by the corporate media outlets of the world.

Money, and a 1TB portable hard drive..

I dislike Xmas and am very humbug about it.. Being unreligious I think it's as pointless as celebrating Ramadan.. Mind you, New Years for mine is a great occasion and I'm thorougly looking forward to it.. Either going to the Kruger Park or Cape St Francis for it..

I for one quite like Christmas, not in the commercial sense, can't stand all the merchandising and other crap that goes on, but quite like the atmospheres around the country it creates, walking through a town on a saturday afternoon whilst its gettinga bit dark and is freezing cold whilst listening to the brass band in the corner playing carols etc...Plus it gets the entire family together and provides a chance to eat/drink too much, watch Dr Who and pass out on the sofa.

Yeah I like Xmas - Going up to Townsville to see the family this year with my woman who hasn't met most my family, so that'll be cool.

I don't care about presents at all, just want to have a nice big lunch and will be happy enough to watch my young neices enjoying their presents.

I must admit I love watching the Boxing day test while it is freezing cold outside at night and full of chavs.. But thats not got much to do with Christmas

Going out to lunch with all our friends and visiting family to a fancy hotel or something, going to be a big buffet with all you can drink piss and everything, should be a nice do. Got a bit of a secret santa going on between the 11 of us up here as well, so will hopefully be getting something good. Am hoping for some good speakers or an external hard-drive.

No point me asking for anything, as our family aren't buying presents for each other - we're being fiscally prudent during the recession.

Pretty much the same as this. Outside of the commercialism, I love Christmas. Listening to crooner Christmas tunes, massive amounts of food, getting tanked from about 10am onwards, Christmas TV specials, standing in busy malls laughing while everyone goes bat**** insane trying to get presents feeling smug for doing it all beforehand or over the net.

Have no religious connections to it, in my mind. It's only a celebration of Christ if you choose it to be. Prefer to think of it as a time to be happy with friends and family, and other gay stuff like that

There are a couple of books I'd love to get or a copy of NBA 2K9.

Boxing Day>>>Christmas Day.

I haven't got a great deal of family to spend christmas with (no more than two members of my immediate family are living together anywhere in the world, and most of them don't like each other) so it's quite low-key for me. I'm probably going to work in a bar this year for the double pay.

I still love the christmas atmosphere though, not to mention the food.
