Love your Melbourne Central photo, great stuff! (The others are great too but I am particularly interested in architecture)

Not a big fan of the last couple, and really only happy with the 3rd & 4th ones, but anyway.

I shoot a bit of cricket and Aussie rules with a Canon 50D 400mm4.6 & 70-200mm2.8.

With cricket I tend to under expose and bump up the ISO to increase shutter speed. I caught one of Mitch Marshs innings in a sponsors box with the sun behind. Very impressed with the results. The 70-200mm is outstanding for Aussie rules, my sons team mates cant get enough of them.

If you can try off camera flash on the last two it might improve them.

I thought it gave an interesting effect, myself. Obviously a more natural shot would be without the flash, but illuminating the foreground which should by all means dark made it quite an interesting photograph. For me, anyways.

I will once I set up an account. I have told the clubs I would not post any pics on the net without prior consent of those photographed so I will be limited to what I can post. I dont know where I would stand legally with posting pics of state and international cricketers.
