    Painted with light..!!!

Here are the pictures i was talking about. my experiments with the flash light and long exposure...you need a long exposure or bulb feature in the dark room. open the shutter and start to draw in the air or around objects with some small torch light. Camera should be fixed on tripod and it will capture light trails. with same technique, you can paint a portrait...the results are as follows:

Wasim Akram: The most sKiLlFuL bowler in history!

Mcgrath said he is fond of the genius "Akram would power through the crease and do whatever he wanted with the old and new ball"

Allan Border "If I ever get a chance to be reborn as a cricketer, I would want to be Wasim"

Richards, Tendulkar and Waugh described Akram as the most dangerous bowler they had ever faced.

Yeah, they look good mate. I actually like the first two with the variations in light.

A view of the great view of nothing.

    That had my filter in.

My favourite photo. I made sure I got the rock in focus, and everything out of focus.

Haha, I think godofcricket and Langeveldt would be better placed to do that SJS. The 7D sounds like a nice present though! Give yourself a year until the lens buying bug kicks in!

Tell me about it. Next thing I wantto buy is a hand held remote for the slow shutter speed photos. Oh and whenever I go down to Point Danger and Hastings Point then a even larger lense, like a 500mm, would not go amiss either

Okay then. My first query as a student is addressed to all three of you

What is the minimum number of lenses I need ?
What order do you think I would be advised to add to them considering the one I already have?

I intend to photograph during my travels (in the mountains and beaches around the world and the pyramids this November to start with) mainly but also at home and of course my dogs and grand children when I have them
