From the Botanic Gardens, Benowa, on the gold Coast.

It was something I was trying, by being on sports mode and trying to get the fastest shutter speed and trying to capture the water droplets. Not sure if I was succesful though. The idea was good anyway.

Yeah fair enough, most like them.. I currently don't have a camera, which is a bit wrong considering I'm a photographer.. So I'm having to make do with using a cellphone.. I know a bad workman blames his tools but it's a phone..

Yeah Cape Town is nice, but if you want to get the **** out of there because of the crime, it is the murder capital of South Africa.. It is over rated though, we have thousands of kilometers of unspoilt wilderness, and all the tourists would rather go up one mountain in a glass box with 50 japanese tourists..

Newlands is a fantastic cricket ground

Anyway this is an evening Perm would be proud of, on top of our most famous landmark..

I'd love to see you mount it on a tripod though, preferably right next to a guy with all the latest gear. If you could make a zoom lens out of plastic cups just to piss him off even more it'd be priceless.

What happened to your camera gear mate? You had one at one stage didn't you? I remember reading something about a new lens quite a while back. Did it disappear on one of the occasions your car got broken into?

Saw the Sony A900 the other day in a shop here in Korea Craig. It's about 3 and a half grand. Very nice though. I tend to live dangerously by picking up all the most expensive cameras in the shop and taking a few shots with them before walking out before the salesman can smell blood and/or notices I'm starting to tear up.

House was broken into a few weeks ago.. The camera and lens were sat next to each other.. They took the camera and left the lens (which costs 4x as much as the camera).. I'm not planning on replacing it until next year .. My work in England will let me use their stuff so it's not as important as it could be
