Are you afraid of spiders?

Resounding yes tbh, cannot stand spiders, no idea why...just hate them...hate they way they move/look/feel etc...dire, don't fear any of the normal things like heights etc....but can't stand to be close to a spider that is any larger than a fingernail...*shudder*

Don't mind spiders much, apart from absolutely massive ones (that applies to anything that's "bigger than it should be", I was almost sick when I saw some picture of a cat-sized rat from WW1), but absolutely hate craneflies and moths. If, that is, there's the prospect of them touching me. Don't mind them at all if they're behind glass, but hate the prospect of them touching my skin. Nothing to do with thinking they can harm me, just don't like them touching my skin, for no real reason.

Have pet snake. Spiders are rats as compared to that. I don't like rats though. They make you goosebumps. Speaking of goose.....

Hate spiders. Swear they were invented by a bored scientist to creep humans out. Horrible.

Dont mind normal spiders, even the rather large house spiders you sometimes see over here.

However when they get rather big and hairy, then they are a wee bit freaky. People who let Tarantula's crawl on their hand are insane

Resounding yes, for anything bigger than about 3 centimetres in diameter, don't mind small ones but anything medium or bigger, scares the **** out of me.

Didn't realise CW had so many women til I saw this thread.

By the way people do realise that you ingest a number of spiders throughout your life when you're asleep.

Yeah, it's completely irrational obviously, but then again everyone has their phobias.

Yeah indeed, I for one have no fear of heights of snakes...but I know several people who are.
