    Discovering Billy Maher

A few months back I came across the funniest guy who talks so much eminent sense. Many of you may be familiar with him for those who aren't , here are two absolutely hilarious performances by my favourite stand up comedian.

    Billy Maher's 'Religulous'

    and

    Victory Begins at Home

I am dying to see his movie 'Religulous' Hopefully my son will get me a copy when he comes to India this weekend

Bill Maher hosts a weekly show on HBO called 'Real Time with Bill Maher'. One of the shows I watch regularly, definitely a good show.

Bill Maher is very very funny and entertaining. And obviously talks a lot of sense.

    Yep.

Maher's comment the other week just before the election when he said "Vietnam's such a lovely place. The climate's warm and the people are really friendly. Why was everyone in the Bush administration so reluctant to go there?" was pure gold.

i am a big fan, make it a point to watch "real time with bill maher" every friday night...watched religulous last week, really enjoyed it although i can't see too many religious people starting to think openly from his narrative...he is very blunt with his sarcasm and witticisms and has ripped into the belief systems of the abrahamic faiths, even mildly religious people might get offended...

I sorta like Maher, although he laughs at his own jokes too much and he's a bit condescending.

Didn't like Religulous at all, it was all the sort of self-congratulatory "hahaha, religious people are so dumb let's laugh at them" tripe that is peddled out by arrogant ****ish atheists whenever religion is discussed.

Fair enough, and some of the people in the film do come off as being dense. But in the end it's about as credible as "hey look at this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nnFb1RpK5Qw all Americans are dumb lolololololololol".
