    Game 1 : One of the best first halves I've seen in any rugby game in years.

    Queensland 6, NSW 12 at HT

    More blood than in the average Lancastrian black pudding factory.

    More in the second half, please

    Johns and Wing were utterly awesome in the second half - ran the opposition ragged. Queensland badly hit by injuries - had to play just about the whole of the second period with no replacements.

    Anthony Minichiello - what a debut. A couple of shaky moments under the high ball early, but the longer the game went on, the more assured he looked (and a couple of tries to boot).

    In all, one of the best rugby league games I've seen in years.

    Yeah one of the best State of the O's in a long time.
    I support Queensland despite being from NZ, i guess thats because of when Graeme Lowe coached Queensland a fair while back now.
    I think it was about 60 minutes of solid tackling which is sublime for the work-rate some of the forwards had.

    Minnichiello is ok, but Lockyer is awesome and Andrew Johns is just on a different planet to any other leagye player.
    History suggests that because NSW have won the 1st match, they'll take the series but I hope Queensland can level it in 2 weeks time & take it down to the wire.

    dont worry im here.
    i was very dissapointed with the result, we are specials in game 2.
    Broncos will make up for it on the weekend when they thrash the raiders.
    enjoy the winning while you can blewy, cause you dont get to celebrate many as a tigers fan. :P
