    Retrieving Saved over Excel spreadsheet?

Hi I accidentally saved over an excel spread sheet after adding new information to the spread sheet. The name of the spread sheet is the same (November expenses). The problem is I want to get back the orginal information in the orignal spread sheet when the spreadsheet was first saved. How do i get back the orginal file or spread sheet that had the orginal information? does any one know? is there a way?

    Yep. Kiss it goodbye.
The one, the only CW Black
    Code:
    47.3 W Coppinger to Heads
Smacked the ball straight into the groin of Iwuajoku who has fallen over,
miraculously with the ball still caught in his scrotal area! Out!

I think the way windows works is if you save a file with the same name as the older file it asks you to replace it, which if you reply as yes it deletes the old file and saves the new file with the same name as the old file.
If that was the case then I would advise you to not use the computer at all as you may overwrite the sectors over which the old file was stored on, install a undelete utility on a usb drive and run it from there to recover your old file.
