Quick Question

If i download and install a new version of itunes, will my library be cleared?

Just don't wanna lose 3000 songs from my current library, and can't remember what happened last time i carried out the same procedure.

Well I had an extensive music collection when I installed itunes for the first time and it wasn't effected. Take that as you will.

itunes = the player

it plays your music which is stored elsewhere on your computer.

Just make sure you don't delete anything sized 10GB cos itunes itself is tiny.
