Just noticed I nominated Morecambe last time too. The place really hasn't improved since then. Bar gaining me, obvs.

Didn't have the best experience in Cornwall when I went with my family for a holiday.

Cornwall is generally a nice place. There's just not a lot in it. Which works for me.

It's a bit too small and niche to win, but Wisbech (pronounced Whizz-beach, ftr) is an absolute ****ing armpit. Combination of grinding poverty, isolation and a high East European immigrant population makes for a febrile atmosphere.

Old lady of 87 was stabbed and set on fire there the other week & last week a man raped and murdered an (alleged) prostitute in a local pub.

Lad I work with lives there and the pub is his local; bloke allegedly spent the night next to the cadaver and calmly announced to the land lady on checking out "By the way, she's not breathing". When she went to check it out her room was basically like that scene from Carrie.
