I remember walking through some of the student areas in Stoke, and I looked through a window into this guys living room, just being nosey.. And he was in there, letting a fire extinguisher off, on his own, just on to the floor.. Then it ran out and he just sat down and watched TV again

Going to be collecting votes fairly soon as I have the dubious honour of going to one of the crap towns tonight!

Worked in Stoke for a bit over a month. Had some of the hardest, most lonely times of my life there.

    Stoke on Trent.

While I've never worked there, I've been there. I share your pain Nath. We could set up a support group, "Been to Stoke and Still Scarred"

I remember on the way back I wanted to stop in a pub so I could drink drive the 300 miles home.. Memories like Stoke are too painful to carry with you for more than 5 minutes.. In the end I just stopped in a lay-by, a broken man, a shadow of my former self..

We'll be there for you when you need us Nath. Remember, the first step to recovery is acceptance.

My name is Martyn, and I've been to Stoke. A few times.

My name is Richard and I've only been to Stoke once.. It was tough though, I had to go at night.. I don't know if I'm getting better yet, I'm still not sleeping very well.. I think I went to a pub there but I couldn't work out if it was a pub or not.. I know I went to a shop though *cries*

Best thing about Stoke is coming back with three points.
