Assuming the battle organizer can vote, I'm going for Bristol and Stoke-on-Trent..

Bristol, despite being a small city, has a fierce ghetto that is definitely a no-go area if you are a white male.. Surprising considering it's in a prosperous gateway to the westcountry type location..

Stoke-on-Trent is a horrific mess of flyovers and battered houses, complete with it's own racial melting pot which usually means Asian people getting abused in corner shops.. It has the worst university I have ever been to with residences named after toilets. I thought the drama department was an industrial estate, and having planned to stay there for a week, left before I even got through the first night.. A horrible place, I hope it goes on to win the battle.. A truly horrible place

Salford, for all its awfulnes (and trust me, if you were ever stranded in Odsall or Little Hulton, you wouldnt be here to vouch for that), just isnt Stoke, at least Salford has a lower class grimey charm, much like that 12 year old chinmey sweep who'll be dead from inhaling soot in 6 months, but still smiles. Stoke sucks the life out of you. It should be twinned with Dundee

Good man, yeah in many of the world's impoverished areas you find evidence of the human spirit, entrepreneurial people, culture, vibrancy.. In Stoke you find none of those things, it is a place devoid of hope or caring..
