    Food Feats

With us mostly being robust blokes, in the prime of our lives, it follows that we have a big appetite. Given this, share some of your remarkable food feats- in the one sitting would be preferable.

    Mine would be:

    - Four foot-long Subs from Subway
    - Three classic crust meatlovers pizzas.

The subway record came about by chance, as when you order three subs, they give you the fourth one free...thus, I just pinned my ears back and went for it.

Had an extra strong mint eating competition once. Not only how many could you fit in your mouth, but now many could you cope with at once.

I think I came second with a tube and a half (about 30?) Hurricane Mints.

    Refreshing....

    And laxata-tious!

Had a competition with mates where we would put one drop of this at a time on our tongues until you could stand the pain no longer. Have never experienced anything quite so bad before or since.

I was struggling to remember any of my truly great Food Feats, but this one reminded me of the time I managed to fit 23 marshmallows in my mouth at once while playing Fluffy Bunnies. Nearly choked to death admittedly, but there you go.

    A few of mine:

    - 22 wasabi peas at once; and

    - A three course meal when in Rome and then 4 hours I went out and had a pizza with a few blokes. TBF I had done something like 25km of walking in 32+ degree heat (and wearing long pants because I had been at the Vatican that day), but still

    Four subs is pretty ridiculous.

But alas, once had 3 Pizza Hut Meatlovers pizzas with a Large McChicken Meal and two garlic breads, with a 1.25L Pepsi Max. Took me 40 minutes.

Can't say I've done anything like the above that's listed. Most would probably be 2 large pizzas, I guess. Never had the desire to eat a whole lot in one sitting tbh.

    Jesus ****.

I've done two pizzas and a garlic bread and drink, but that's heroic.

I eat for sustenance and to satisfy an appetite, not as part of a juvenile dickwaving contest to see who can gorge themselves the most. Maybe it's an Aussie thing?

Once saw a guy eat 96 of those listerine strips.

Only thing I can think of is eating 24 weetbix in two sitting for breakfast on a school camp.

24 in two sittings is impressive.

My best in one sitting is 11.
