Champions League Final

Are the Italians kidding themselves???

They can't score...
0-0 after 90 mins
0-0 after 120 mins (ET)
3-2 after Penalties...

More saves by a keeper in a penalty shoot-out then i've seen in a LOOOONG time...

Well i must say im glad Milan won as it gives me a tidy sum.....

Isnt the Serie-A notouriously low scoring? Must be very boring, but there are some class teams there though........

Theres no denying that they are class... To be honest the game was pretty good...

Despite the lack of goals, i guess it was cause it was the CL final that kept me interested....

Sorry blewy but i thought that was an extremely weak game probably the worst CL final of all time.We dont want to see long-ball-header by defender-cross-header out-longball-header by defender-cross-header etc etc etc,We want some serious action but these teams cant provide.I would mark out for some flambouyant football these days!

I'd have to say its pretty disappointing considering the players both sides had..Del Piero, Shevchenko, Nesta, Maldini, Rivaldo etc..

It was like watching a game of chess - so many tactics on show, all negated by the opposition, but after the first 60 minutes, I think that both sides were already settling for the shootout.

In the end, I thought it was by and large a tedious affair.

The player I really thought would stamp his class on the game (Edgar Davids) was largely anonymous, and it was no surprise when he was substituted.

I didnt even bother watching it because it was 2 italian teams. Whats the point? all italian teams are boring, they struggle to score goals, which is shame cause theres some class strikers in the seira A.

now wouldn't it have been better with Real Madrid?. I think a Club World Championship Tournament that actually meant something would be gr8!! i would love to see the brazilian teams against italian teams . but currently the World Club Chapionship means nothing. but wouldn't sumthin to the stature of the CL, but a world tourney be gr8?

Or keepers like Barthez!

Hence they're rumoured to be signing Tourette Timmy (although how he gets a WP I'll never know)

barthez is all but gone isnt he??

instead of trying to get duff or kewell they should go for a world class defender that isnt 35 years old!

Who the heck's Tourette Timmy?!

Real Madrid also need to learn how to defend properly if they are going to win it constantly.
