It was mostly gash from Bob in the 80s, but Oh Mercy was a good album right at the arse end of the decade.

    - As featured in The Independent.

"The committee discussed the issue of illegal bowling actions, and believed that there are a number of bowlers currently employing suspect actions in international cricket, and that the ICC's reporting and testing procedures are not adequately scrutinising these bowlers."
    - Even the ICC's own official press release thinks things must change

Yeah Oh Mecy is not bad at all and there is some great stuff from that time on the bootleg albums which came out last year. Dylan and the Dead is unspeakably awful. Have not heard much of the christian stuff but they are supposed to be pretty dire apart from Slow Train Coming (79) which is actually fairly good but have only heard it a couple of times.

The Pogues never got number 1 did they? Is a shame that that is the only song of theirs that most people know but it is still great.

Think I prefer I Feel Fine but looking at the list it's certainly up there

Still Dylan is one of my very favourites so am not going to complain. Really depends on what you what you want really? If you like the early stuff then The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan is the one to go for but I would start with Bringin it all back home has some of his most famous acoustic songs and his very first electric ones (is also my favourite). Followig on from that came Highway 61 Revisited and Blonde on Blonde which are often considered his best. Then there is Blood on the Tracks and Desire from the 70's. I also love his newer stuff Time out of Mind from 1997 especially but would not start with that.

    Got it in one.
