I agree, and yet although the video clip is set at a wedding, it's also a great fit:

One per artist, otherwise Nick Cave and Radiohead would probably both have two entries.

    1. At The Drive-In - Relationship of Command
    2. The Decemberists - The Crane Wife
    3. Tom Waits - Real Gone
    4. Radiohead - In Rainbows
    5. Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds - No More Shall We Part
    6. Elbow - The Seldom Seen Kid
    7. The Mars Volta - Frances The Mute (this could be any of three albums actually)
    8. Johnny Cash - American IV: The Man Comes Around
    9. The Shins - Wincing The Night Away
    10. The Veils - Nux Vomica

Heh at the mentions for Junior Senior and Grandaddy.... saw both of them back in 2003 and hardly heard anything since, completely dropped off the radar..

Never really got the love for The Strokes first album, just never saw the hype behind them, felt the two big singles were decent enough, rest just passed me by.....

Ok, in no particular order and sticking with the one-album-per-artist thang:

Muse - Black Holes and Revelations
    Kasabian - Kasabian
The Shins - Oh, Inverted World
    The Killers - Hot Fuss
    Kate Miller-Heidke - Little Eve
    Editors - The Back Room
White Lies - To Lose My Life...
The Mountain Goats - The Sunset Tree
    Kaiser Chiefs - Employment
    Ian Brown - Solarized
Elbow - The Seldom Seen Kid
Sigur Ros- Med Sud I Eyrum Vid Spilum Endalaust

    Yeah I know it's 12 not 10...

Definitely agree. TBH I find listening to a whole Strokes album through pretty boring.

Their debut was one that had it's immediate stand outs, but then the rest of it grew on me over time. I find every track on This Is It equally as listen-able now. Can't say the exact same for their follow ups, though they've both definitely grown on me over time. Good music to go about your daily life, as well.

I generally have my entire music collection set on random when using my laptop, and songs that when I first heard them when listening to the album that struck me as being so-so and skip-able are now just as listen-able as the more catchy ones.
