And the Ben Folds newy with Regina Spektor is so catchy it's rediculous.
So Black Ice is in full swing now. Looks like it debuted at the #1 spot in the music charts in 29 countries. The album is certainly not that great, so it just goes to show just how big their fan base is around the world.
Going to their concert tonight btw.

Lol at the headline. Makes some sense to me. I rushed to listen to them over and over again when I lost my job a few years ago.
Hi, just wanted to call out the Aussies.
As you may have read () I am very proud of my oasis collection, what with a full UK set and all. But I would like to get everything, and there are a few overseas singles I want to get my hands on...wish I had done when Virgin in Birkenhead sold them when I was 11
Anyway, Morning Glory & Champagne Supernova were released as singles down under and I can't find them on amazon, can't seem to get hold of an Aussie amazon myself. Was wondering if anyone could just have a quick look on the usual places and see if they are still listed down there?
Does that make sense?
Cheers Mitchell, looks like it's updated quite often so I can keep checking that. Not likely to afford anything just now anyway, just wanted to start looking really
Is usually decent enough for finding that version of The Birdy Song that was released on a 7" that was actually a 6" and only released in the Northern half of Peru.
Everyone has that version though don't they?
Would be a poor collection without it tbf.
I have all the versions, even the 17" Ellesmere Port edition which doesn't play on any record player
Surely it would play, the stylus just wouldn't reach the outer 5" part of the disc?
No stupid, it's specially programmed so you have to listen from the start, therefore you can't
As if Vinyl's specially programmed to do anything but sit there, you're old, surely you remember how it worked?
LOL, I own a fair few vinyl actually. Started collecting some from my fave bands when I was about 17, so my Nan & Grandad got me a great record player for my 18th. I just buy the albums that are special to me on vinyl, just because really.
Have a ****load of original Beatles & Stones singles on 45 as well, but don't play them as I believe they would wreck the stylus!
Also (not that you'll be interested in this, but others might be) own Plastic Ono Band - Give Peace a Chance on 45. The interesting thing is, first up it's credited to Lennon/McCartney, which it hasn't been on any other release AFAIK and more interestingly it is actually titled Give Peace a Change. Reckon it might have been worth a bit if my Dad wasn't a binge drinker in his youth (what a disgrace, glad that part of Corrin tradition ended there), tossed it round at parties, broke the middle of it so it has a replacement bit, etc etc
