Jeez. WTF, Muse? Most random, inexplicable and brilliant set list ever.

I it. Think I might like it more than I do Noel's. big step up from them anyway. Just got that right balance of trying out different things but remaining true to your roots.

I'd always liked Agitated, but I thought they just considered it an early-career throwaway jam. Maybe they'll pull it out next time they're in nz?

edit: THEY PLAYED YES PLEASE AS WELL WHAT

Quick heads up for any UK based readers (who have Sky): Metal Evolution is being repeated on Sky Arts 1. Ep 1 is on right now. Really is one of the most definitive musical documentary series I've seen.

If you've any taste for distorted electric guitars at all you really should catch it.

    - As featured in The Independent.

"as much a news event as an actual footballer, a worthy stop-start centre forward, but an all-time hyper-galactico when it comes to doing funny things with cars and hats, a player whose signing proves once again that the Premier League is still undoubtedly the best in the world when it comes to doing things with cars and hats."

Indians can't bowl - Where has the rumour come from as I myself and many indian friends arwe competent fast bowlers ?

With the English bid I said: Let us be brief. If you give back the Falkland Islands, which belong to us, you will get my vote. They then became sad and left

    Really?

Did you expect more or less?

Guy has a real case for the most influential songwriter of all-time. I saw one obit trotting out Brian Eno's quote about how The Velvet Underground & Nico might only have sold 30,000 copies, but every one who bought it formed a band because of it.

It's a perspective, will give it that at least. Far better than the obsequious fellating we see of some big Aussie artists by the press here.

Nah it's good for him to have his opinion and try to express it humorously, but a lot of what the article has a dig at is unnecessary. They're self-confessedly not a rock band in the traditional sense, and don't want to be or try to be, yet he has a go at them for not sounding like the rock band he seems to want them to sound like?

Yeh, some critics miss the point a bit. My band's first album was once reviewed by a prog site, their only criticism was 'this doesn't fit what people would call prog....'. A funk band being reviewed by a prog site and apparently the big thing wrong with the album was what it ain't.

In their defence, they were probably just sent a CD by our label rather than them just picking it up randomly so the conclusion to be drawn here is that our label sucks.
