Just started AGOT. 50 pages down, seems good.

Finished ADWD some time back. It had its high points but somehow felt let down at the end of it. The story in the north was the best part of it according to me and the eastern story had lots of filler including one whole character who does almost absolutely nothing.

Athlai doesn't lie. And he doesn't do sarcasm either, so you know it's true!

Well so will you said Ethel in a snappy tone and she ran out of the room with a very superier run throwing out her legs behind and her arms swinging in rithum.
Well said the owner of the house she has a most idiotick run.'

    I did.

Done **** all reading in the past few weeks, and have a ridiculously long reading list to get through. Luckily holidays are a week away.

Finished India after Gandhi, a pretty good read. Makes one just admire the fact that India has survived as a democratic country for 65 years without breaking up into tiny countries despite having such diversity.

Started with Joe Abercrombie's The Blade Itself. The start has been pretty good.

Reading Anarchy Evolution by Greg Graffin, lead singer of Bad Religion and evolutionary biologist who teaches at UCLA. I'm only part way through, but it seems like a statement of his world view with a bit of autobiographical stuff. It's pretty interesting.

Finished "The Value Of Nothing" today. Pretty spot on I have to say. Everyone's trying the solve the world's problems and inequalities using the very system that created them in the first place, very much a case of trying to put out a fire with gasoline.

Almost finished The God Delusion by Richard Dawkins. I've been meaning to read it for a while.

I also read Break, Hannah Moskotwitz's first novel, during the holidays. It's about a kid going around breaking his bones on purpose, and despite a few shortcomings I enjoyed the book. Ended too abruptly for me to really love it though.
