How does a nuclear bomb work?

I know the devastation it causes and that it releases tons of electromagnetic radiation into the atmosphere into the atmosphere but how exactly does it work in the first place?

Which kind of bombs in particular? atomic bombs use a nuclear fission reaction, whereas hydrogen bombs use a fusion reaction.

It unleashes the awesomeness of Kevin Pietersen into an area, destroying anything with in a radius of everywhere.

    EDIT: Or something like that...
    Or something.

Well, without knowing whether or not its an atomic bomb or a hydrogen bomb I wouldnt like to say, as they are both capable of similar levels of damage.

    True.

Anyway apparently this Tsar bomb which was developed by the Soviet Union was 4000 times more powerful then the bomb that devastated Hiroshima.

Hydrogen bomb is an atomic bomb. The difference is that it uses fusion instead of fission. And even the fusion bomb uses fission.
