Costs AUS$85 to fill my car up with regular unleaded petrol which costs $1.59 a litre. It's a Toyota Camry Sportivo.
How much does it cost you to fill up?

Usually somewhere in the NZ$60s for me. I have a Toyota Levin.
Good thing I only have to fill up once a month or so, I really only use the car to get to work (4 shifts a week usually) and can use public transport the rest of the time.![]()
Toyota Avalon Touring. Cost me just over USD 60 last time I filled up.
Forever 63* at the SCG
£48 a tank of diesel which is approx 40 litres.
That is US$90 or AUS$92 or NZ$116 i.e. a lot for not much.

About $45. Usually lasts me two weeks, maybe a little less.
At 22c per litre here in Dubai, sweet bugger all![]()
I do get 50 miles to the gallon or 21 km to the litre or 5.65 litres /100km so economy is good but it has to be with prices.
I bike to work every day so a full tank lasts me 5-6 weeks if I don't do any exceptional journeys.

Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.

So technically, the thread title should be, "How much does it cost to fill your car up", considering you don't pay anything.
Had my old car written off last week. Used to cost me close to $60 each time, was a V6 and chewed up the petrol. Have a used '96 Corolla and it cost me just under $60 so hoping as it's a 4 cylinder it will last me a little longer.

Haha, in a different age this thread title would be vaguely yaju.

Mine is probably up to about £65 at the current time, my tank is about 50-55 litres. Not sure what that is in Convict or Yank or Kiwi dollars.
Hardly ever drive myself though so that generally needs filling-up once every 5 months or so.

Don't generally fill it right up. Luckily I mainly drive the 5ks to the school bus stop now so I only fill up about onve every two weeks. Sadly I may have to use public transport after my school years which goes against all instincts and lessons learned.
These include:
1. Bus drivers don't seem to know what a clutch is
2. Always, without fail, somebody you want to distance yourself from will sit next to or near you.
3. You'll be late 9 times out of 10
4. You have no independence over where you go.
5. There is nothing to occupy yourself with
6. I quite enjoy driving though I do realize in the world of today this is a sin.
That was a nice little selection.
Hopefully at uni I'll be able to walk to everywhere I'll need to go, though I doubt it as any available horse grazing will always without fail be on the other side of the general region (most likely Hamiton) to uni. Likewise thats where the pubs will be.
1 & 2 are very good points.
Disagree about having nothing to occupy yourself though - quite enjoy listening to my mp3 player on the bus, and when the weather's nice the views out the window can be fantastic.
And I've never been late with public transport, which is probably quite lucky considering the awful reviews Auckland public transport has.
