Lost Tribe Discovered
http://au.news.yahoo.com/080530/19/172sg.html?f=mv
Technically they weren't 'lost' as they knew where they were and nobody was looking for them. Still, interesting stuff. Astonished to read there are 100 uncontacted indigenous tribes worldwide...and pleased as well. I think it's great these guys are still out there with their bows and arrows. It's a pity it looks like deforestation will ruin things for them.

Either one of them tans really easily and the other two dont, or they've got an extensive skill in all out body paint.
Cynic in me wants to see more pics. Though does remind me of the last ever episode of Drop The Dead Donkey, which i only watched last week, where Damien Day has a nervous breakdown and goes in search of the final lost Amazonian tribe, armed only with his camera and his anti-stress pills, and ends up being captured and enslaved as their God.

Can help but think how much happier they'd be with a good broadband connection.

even though they have never had contact with the rest of the world, I bet you they still have a couple of old school t-shirts lying around with Coca-Cola, or Mexico 70 on them, and one of them is bound to be wearing an Oakland Raiders cap or something

Thought this was fantastic - like Son of Coco said, I thought it was amazing that there are 'unconnected' tribes running around in this day and age. The poor buggers must have been terrified of the helicopter - must think the world is ending. Have to give them kudos for manning up and grabbing their bow and arrows to come out and face it down. Now here's hoping they didn't go and sacrifice half their tribe to calm the gods down and make that loud hovering monster go away.
