The Last Great Debate. To circumcise or not

I have a 3 yr old and an 18 month old boy

For a long time Ive held off against my wifes desire to circumcise them. However, Im changing my mind as if it has to be done it needs to be done soon.

If they were going to live in the UK I wouldnt but as they will be mostly in the US, where vast majority are circumcised and a pee-pee with a hat could draw mockery, Im starting to think its a good idea.

    Anyway, are you circumcised?

    Would you circumcise your boys?

I got an extra one put on instead. It's painted a black and white chequered pattern and I used it as a headband when I'm playing 'sport'.

Thought that was primarily a Jewish/Muslim thing tbh. Didn't know the Merkans are self-mutilators as well.

Anyway, I see it as unnecessary knifeplay on a human body, so my advice would be: hell, no .

I think most Americans are circumcised as a matter of course; I grew up near two massive US Air Force bases (Mildenhall & Lakenheath) and of the service people who put their kids through English schools absolutely every American was cropped. I think it's done on the grounds of hygiene nominally, but I suspect it's an aesthetic choice as much as anything. Provided one bathes I think the hygiene thing is unjustifiable, so it really comes down to whether a (some reckon) neater-looking willy is a sufficient trade off for reduced sexual pleasure as an adult.

    Uncut here, ftr.

The color of immortality, nature and envy - you are truly a unique person. While clearly the color of nature, you also symbolize rebirth, fertility and hope in the world. On the other side of the spectrum, a natural aptitude to money with green coming to signify money and possibly even *********!

Personally, unless you happen to be a strong believer in faiths that call for circumcision, I don't see why you should do it. It's just pointless mutilation/removal (although certainly not on the horrendous scale of female circumcision)

On the female front, opinion seems to be divided on what they prefer, but as we all know, you can't keep all women happy. So as long as things are kept, how shall we say, "tidy" underneath the foreskin, then they really shouldn't complain. Also, the absence of a foreskin might prevent your sons from setting up their own successful Puppetry Of The Penis stageshow, as it's a key part of the act.
